We are officially organized as a Charity. All donations to our charitable organization, The Novak Barn Foundation, are tax deductible. Our mission, as stated previously, is to acquire the historic Novak Barn from the current owners and restore the Barn for use as a community facility.
The uses of the facility are limitless; the upper portion of the barn is massive and may be used for meeting space, theater productions, music performances and as a venue for art shows, history presentations, and youth events.
The lower level lends itself to retail space and possible use as a history center.
This barn is in danger of being destroyed, not only is it historically significant in its own right, the history of the original owner of this barn, Dr. E. E. Novak is phenomenal.
The Novak Barn Foundation is nothing more than a wonderful group of individuals that love barns, history, and New Prague. We have and will continue to work tirelessly to save this wonderful piece of New Prague history, and dedicate its future use to the community of New Prague.
